And... We need to stop being lazy...

...procrastin-ai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ai-shu-uh-un... <---to the tune of the Imagination song on South Park (Moriko [me] likes South Park, not Hana-chan. I'm just weird like that...)

Another update...yeah. I need to stop adding ellipses. Next strip needs to be edited, the one after needs to be scanned, et cetera, et cetera. (Did I spell that right?) I've been lazier lately, mostly because I've been playing Final Fantasy VII on my PS3 (how retro, I get a PS3 just to play FFVII) and because I'm slightly sick. I think I got our sugar glider sick, too - I can hear his sneezing even all done up in his shirt/bed. Awww...kawaii!!! X3

To get myself more in the mood of doing this, or maybe just because I love zombie movies (I can't handle any horrors except One Missed Call and zombie movies), I've just watched the newest Resident Evil movie, Afterlife. It's pretty kick-bleep. I mean, maybe that's just because the beginning was in Japan and the main heroine, Alice, had katanas (squee!!!), but I just love watching the undead get their bleeps handed to them. And also jerkfaced movie producers. It kinda sucks that the cool Korean guy had to die, though. T.T I really need to play the actual games... Maybe I'll borrow 5 from my stepdad. But the other ones look a lot better. I dunno, what'd'you think?

Anywho.. If I'm sick, I really shouldn't be up this late blogging, ne? I guess I'm signing off then. Hopefully, I'll be typing the next update decked out in my Haidong Gumdo attire. I need to take up those lessons again... G'night! ...er, I mean, g'morning!

Hello to our wonderful followers! This is Hana-Chan! This is the first time for me to put up a comic and my first blog! YAYAYAYAYA!!!! *cough* Anyway.... There is a story behind this one...One day my IDIOT brother told me that THE cat died and when he said that I instantly thought that MY cat died. He even showed where he buried the cat so I got really upset because I love my Kitty, Tibo but then I found out that it wasn't Tibo it was some random cat that died in our yard and my brother buried it....Brothers are soooo wonderful...Jerk. Anyway I hope you enjoyed today's comic. Moriko drew the comic and edited and I Hana-Chan edited as well. Yay Teamwork!

... If you can't tell, we're procrastinating...

Moriko wa koko da! I'm REALLY sorry about the late late late late late lateness, but there's been drama and friend and art issues lately... Before I stopped drawing, though, we had, like, up to Week 8 plus some pencil sketches. Now I'm working on other stuff, and there really is no good excuse for our procrastination except that both of us are slightly lazy at editing..... Plus Hana-chan is the one with the scanner and the tablet and we live in different cities... We're trying to fix that because we're both sick of our parents anyway (love you, Mom...), but it's kinda hard when you're also trying to get into college and one of you works at a call center for just above minimum wage. *sigh*

Just don't forget that we haven't completely forgotten ("completely" being the operative term) and we love our two followers that are still with us. Wait, two?! Yay!!!!! We've gradiated!!!

And since I can't think of anything else to draw on it besides the "quitting cold turkey" one I drew a few days ago, could people, like, comment and give us suggestions? I had one in my mind when I took a shower the other day, but it totally slipped my mind by the time I was out. Grr... (sorry if that was TMI)

Also, I have a few references. If you wanna see where we got our inspiration, I had two and Hana-Chan had another comic/cartoon thing that really inspired us. Here're the links:

Moriko:
Eddsworld: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLZ5c27G-R8 (Zombeh Attack, their first 'toon)
Penny Arcade: http://www.penny-arcade.com/ (Their blog. Just click on the tab that says "comic" to get to their strips.)

Hana-chan:
http://www.megatokyo.com/ (I haven't read much of it. I should, though.)

Well, I have to get back to the kitchen. That fridge won't clean itself. 'Night!

Mewwy Kwissmiss, peopwes!!!! XD

Moriko here again!!! It is currently 5:40 pm and I'm really happy for some reason... meh. Oh, wait, now it's 5:41...

I was going to do a special strip for Christmas/Solstice/Kwanzaa/Chanukkah/whatever-other-holiday, but I kinda put it off... I did draw a holiday picture, but the subject matter was characters from my book that I've been writing for a year and a friend that's not Hana-chan, and I did write up some zombie parody lyrics for Dashing Through the Snow, but I don't have a scanner here and I don't want to run and grab the paper I wrote the lyrics on (because it's in my room and I have to go around outside to get there... -_-' It's cold.)
So I'll just grace your waiting eyes with a stupid rant about nothing in particular.

I love/hate how it didn't really look like December here until about a week ago. I mean, I hate snow (I was born in Southern California, and we don't really have snow there at all), but, well, when it's December it should look like the December that occurs around here and not somewhere slightly more southern.

But it was fun frolicking around at the park the next town over, within walking distance of Hana-chan's house, with our friend that just got back temporarily from the army and his girlfriend, with Hana-chan, our friend who's going into the army soon, and our friend who's way into guitar. (The latter two are actually both into guitar, and it's really fun to listen to them face off as if they were in a real-life Guitar Hero.) Even though I only threw one snowball and made a pitiful excuse for a snow angel, it was an awesome day. Days like that don't just happen all the time, and it's days like that that, no matter what time of the year, makes us appreciate our lives, our friends, and whatever happens I can keep on living through the bad stuff with memories like that.

...Since I appear to be going all cheesy and mushy, I think I'll stop now... >///< But seriously, don't take your friends for granted, because they might not always be there in the years to come. And I hope you all enjoy your Christmas, Boxing Day, and Kwanzaa. And have a happy new 2011. (We've got two more years until the zombie apocalypse!!! YAY!!!)

...I'M SO SORRY IT'S TWO DAYS LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! T.T

Yeah... Drawn by Moriko, scanned and edited by Hana-chan. I did some editing too... (I as in Moriko.)

The next one might be late, too. I blame winter. T.T And it's because of the snow that I missed the lunar eclipse. I hate snow.......

...Gotta go, but enjoy the comic, my half-dozen-ish viewers!! XD

I'm cutting this WAY too close...

No tablet this time. T.T Oh, well. It was done last-minute at the library, and that means I have to get off because I have a minute left to get off.... XP 'Bye!

Tuesday, December 7, 2010

Edited with a TABLET!!! YAY!!!

It was mostly me editing this time. XP But thanks to Hana-chan's older brother for lending us the tablet. Yay!!! It made editing so much easier and faster and stuff. X3

YAY FOR BREAKING THE FOURTH WALL!!!!

Um... Not much to say this time so I'll have to leave you to it. X3 'Bye!

HAH! Beat THAT, deadline!!!

I love when I'm on time when I've said I'm gonna be late. X3

Welp, here's week 2. Tell me if my handwriting's illegible in the 2nd panel... I wanted to erase all that and type over it but then that would screw up the background and I was up 'til 2:30 editing anyway.... grrrrr. I blame Mom's computer, with its internet and its non-noisiness....

This time I - Moriko - did all the editing because Hana-chan forgot, but that's fine. She had work early today. I think. She usually does.

I'm gonna get going now, I want to get back to D.Gray-Man before I have to go to work. Enjoy the strip, guys!
